Always looking for Challenge Directors :)

Looking to "contract" (you would be self-employed) tutors for teens. You should have at least one year of homeschooling experience and have teen aged or older students. You would have to agree with the "Faith Statement". You would receive training at a three day Practicum during the summer. If you have a heart to serve homeschooling families by equipping them to school their children through the high school year, please contact Laura Griffith at lgriffith@classicalconversations.com or 540-397-3311.  If you would like to see a class in action, I can direct you to an Open House. The year will be complete by the end of April.

Used book sale/IM's

GRHE will join HERF for a VALLEY-WIDE USED CURRICULUM SALE!
Date: Tuesday May 19, 2015 at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church
Time: 9:00 am- 2:00 pm
Admission to shop is free.
Other opportunities to learn more about Classical Conversations will be at Blue Ridge Library Thurs May 28 1:00-3:00pm and Friday June 26 1:00-3:00pm.
I could also meet you at Fincastle library 9:30am-11am on one of the next three Fridays in May.

Also, there is a new group starting in Rocky Mount if you know of anyone on that side of town.
Thursday night May 28th at 6:30 at the Rocky Mount Library.

Window Into Challenge

Description: Classical Conversations Jr. & High School PROGRAM (Challenge) is for students 12 and older. For 30 weeks they study 6 challenging subjects at home while practicing dialectic & rhetorical skills in a weekly class. A trained and experienced home schooling parent tutors the students in math, foreign language, Apologia sciences, classic literature, writing reports, debates, science labs and much more. Challenge Programs foster student development.
