Tutor for Journeymen

We have someone to tutor the 3rd/4th graders!! I'm excited to see how the Lord is answering prayer. Please keep praying for two more tutors. I encourage you to attend a practicum if you are interested in learning more about the classical model of education.

Parent Practicum

For 3 days each summer, adults who love learning the classical model meet to refresh their understanding of the classical model, to practice thinking like classical educators, and to receive training in the classical model of education. These events are similar to intensive teacher in-service training, so parents return year after year. The Parent Practicum in Blacksburg is open for registration. It will meet June 15th-16th. It is free to attend. There are camps available for the children of parents attending the practicum. There is a fee for the camp and they fill up early.

Hope to see you there!!!

The Last Info Meeting

The meeting on March 7th was attended by parents (and grandparent) of older children. It is exciting to see the many families who are thinking about homeschooling again (after sending to school) or for the first time. I will be praying for these families as they make decisions for their children's future education.

The Roanoke group's Foundation program is full. I expect to receive more inquiries in the future due to the referrals they are sending my way.

I will plan to have info meetings at the end of April and first part of May. I will post the dates after they are approved by the church.

Please continue to pray for this ministry.

I'll Be Gone

I will be going out of town Thursday night but will be coming back just before the info meeting on Saturday. If you send me an email and I do not reply, you will know why.

I have received word that the Roanoke group is full. I perceive our classes will fill quickly too!
